Peter Ward APM
Principal Risk Advisor, Intrepidus Risk Consulting
Peter brings 36 years of policing experience, including 18 years in elite tactical operations and executive command of police stations, Local Area Commands and Divisions. He led the Victoria Police security response to the 2024 ASEAN-Australia Special Summit and Land Forces 2024.
Through Intrepidus, he advises boards and executives on governance and accountability risk, business continuity and emergency management, and protective security, bringing the judgement of someone who has commanded live incidents and carried accountability for their outcomes.

Protective security services will be provided by IRC OPS Pty Ltd, trading as Intrepidus Risk Consulting, once its Private Security Business Licence is granted (application lodged with Victoria Police LRD).
Peter’s security, crisis and governance experience complements GRA’s safety and resilience capability. On selected projects the two firms combine threat-informed reviews, occupational violence and aggression risk, incident and emergency preparedness, and scenario exercises.
Either firm may lead an engagement. Scope, responsibilities, insurance and commercial arrangements are agreed in writing for each one.
